Cody Whitworth SST winner at Cowtown Speedway

Cody Whitworth, #50, was the SST Sprints feature winner.

The Sprint Series of Texas made their second and final appearance at the 1/4-mile high banked track. Twenty-four SST Sprints were in the pits. Montana Hayashi, #56, who started from the pole, jumped out to an early lead. About half way through the 20-lap feature, Cody Whitworth, #50, passed Montana on the outside going into turn one to take the lead. Cody was never challenged and went on to take the checkered flag. Ryan Beechler, #6, Montana Hayashi, #56, Jerry Hammock, #4, the last SST feature winner at Cowtown, and Mike Herring, #99, rounded out the top five. Justin McCoy, #87, was the Limited Modified feature winner. 

In the RaceTX Limited Modifieds feature, it looked like veteran Troy Taylor, #56, was going to take the win. But on the last lap, Justin McCoy, #87, and Sean Jones, #24, who had won several feature races in a row, passed him for the win. Bobby Ruffin, #121, and Chase Brewer, #99, completed the top five.

In the 600 Mini Sprints feature, veteran Kevin Ramey, #7m, was the feature winner. Colby Estes, #71, was second and Jeb Sessums, #02, was third.

In the Restrictor Mini Sprints feature, Bradon Hull, #4h, was the feature winner. Chance Hull, #7h, was second and Dylan Fox, #27, was third.

Gary Smitherman, #42, was the winner in the Bombers feature.

Gary Smitherman, #42, ran away with the Bomber feature. Frank Lackey, #41, was second and Trey Smitherman, #96, was third.
