Bobby Malcus Modified winner at Cowtown Speedway

Bobby Malcus was the Modified feature winner.

Cowtown Speedway hosted the first of two nights of racing for the Tenth Annual Topless 100. In the Modified feature qualifier Friday night, Bobby Malcus, #88xx, started on the outside second row. A few laps into the race, he passed Jared Webb, #15, the 2010 Modified champion, and Sean Jones, #24, to take the lead and the win. Tim Clonch, #49, Trevor Lane, #17, and Josh Landers, #14x, were your top six finishers.

Saturday's Topless 100 has been rained out. A strong thunderstorm passed through Saturday morning and the races have been cancelled. The plan is to reschedule them at a later date. For more information, go to: www.cowtownspeedway.com

Troy Taylor was the Limited Modified feature winner. 

Fresh off a win from Texas Motor Speedway, Troy Taylor, #56, was the raceTX Limited Modified feature winner. Tim Clonch, #18, Wayne Melton, #18m, Terry Pritchett, #z71, and Cody Simpson, #81, rounded out your top five.

Andy Hogan was the 600 Mini Sprints feature winner.

Andy Hogan, #3d, made it two in a row in the 600 Mini Sprints feature. In one of the closest races of the evening, Andy Hogan held off a hard charging Kevin Ramey, #7m, to take the win. Justin Melton, #11, Chipper Wood, #47, and Taylor Smitherman, #21t, were your top five.

Frank Lackey was the Bomber feature winner.

In the Bomber feature race, Frank Lackey, #41, was the winner. Chad Pearce, #82, Gary Smitherman, #42, Tracy Baker, #22, and Dustin Birmingham, #13x, were your top five. 

Bradley Ivie was your Restrictor feature winner. 

It looked like Michele Melton, #21, was going to take the checkered flag in the Restrictor feature, but with one lap to go, she spun out opening the door for Bradley Ivie, #99i to take the win. Ashley Reagan #87, the 2010 Restrictor Mini Sprints champion, Reagan Reed, #7, Braden Hull, #4h, and Chance Hull, #7h, were your top five.
