SportMod drivers introductions for the A-main.
Sean Jones was the SportMod feature winner Saturday night.

Kennedale Speedway Park held the 6th Annual IMCA Southern SportMod Nationals Friday and Saturday night. In the SportMod feature Friday night, Jay Bransom, #29, finished 1st. However, his car was disqualified and Fort Worth veteran Troy Taylor, #56, was declared the winner. The hard charger award went to Sean Jones, #94, who moved up several places to take the 2nd position. J.P. Dowell, #65d, rounded out the top 3.
Saturday night, Mansfield's Sean Jones, #94, took advantage of a great starting position and quickly jumped out to the lead in the 25-lap main event. There was no stopping Sean Jones Saturday night as he ran away from the 24-car field to take the $2,000 first place money. Troy Taylor, #56, took 2nd and David Ferguson, #64x, was 3rd.

In the 20-lap IMCA Modified feature, local legend Keith White, #1, took the checkered flag to win the $1,000 Modified feature. About 6-laps into the feature, Keith White passed Mike Hathcock, #103, on a rough track to take the lead. The ruts got to Mike Hathcock costing him several positions. Jeremy Willis, #010, and Kevin Sustaire, #3p, rounded out the top three.

In the Street Stock feature, Michael Sterling, #17, came from the back of the pack to pick up the win. It was a close race with several cars battling for the lead. With a couple of laps to go, several cars got together coming out of turn 2, allowing Michael Sterling to go by on the high side for the win. John Riechard, #8j, and Jimmy Parker, #21, were your top three.
