This Saturday at Cowtown Speedway is the sixth and final night of the Longhorn Speedweek featuring the COMP Cams SMP Modified Series presented by Racing Head Service. A large field of the top Modified drivers will be on hand from throughout the region, racing for $1,500 to win and $125 to start. Fans can enjoy out of town invaders, such as June 8th series winner Tyler “The Terror” Townsend (TX), June 7th series winner Jason Hughes (OK), June 5th series winner Stormy Scott (NM); and a host of others including Trevor Egbert (TX), Peyton Taylor (AR) and TJ Herndon (TN). At the time of writing, Cowtown “regulars” Chase Allen and Jared Webb are presently 4th and 6th respectively in series points. Joining the touring SMP touring teams will be the Winged Modifieds, Bombers, Limited Modifieds, Winged 600’s on the ¼ mile. The Restricted 600’s will race on the Action Track.
Grandstand tickets are $15 for ages 12 and up, $5 ages 6-11, and FREE for ages 5 and under. All pit passes will be regular price of $30. Gates open at 5pm, hot laps at 6:30pm and racing at 7pm.

Bobby Malcus will be trying to improve on his second place finish at Lone Star Speedway.
