Bloggin' is Racin': Brandon Stewart $1,000 Modifieds winner at Kennedale Speedway Park

Brandon Stewart was the IMCA Modifieds feature winner.

Academy's Brandon Stewart, #2, picked up his first IMCA Modifieds feature win this season at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. It was worth waiting for because it paid $1,000. In the Modifieds A-main Brandon took the early lead and held off his running buddy and current points leader Keith White, #1, for the win. Jacob Pirkle, #41, Steve Rutherford, #95, and Richard Brown, #77, rounded out the top five.

Kevin Rutherford was the IMCA Southern SportMods feature winner.

Speaking of first, Flower Mound's Kevin Rutherford, #9, got his first feature win in the IMCA Southern SpostMods. Last weeks' winner Gary Fox, #12, was second and Devin Burgess, #64, was third.

George Gafford, #70, and Jeff Kinnaird, #07, nose to nose.

Ryan Hall was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner.

Ryan Hall, #79, was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner. Dustin Woods, #05, was second and Chad Wilson, #20, was third.

This was not the start that Ryan hall was looking for in his heat race.

Keith White was the IStocks feature winner.

Current points leader Keith White, #1, was the IStocks feature winner. A hard charging John Morris, #50, was second and Ryan Powers, #12r, was third.

Allen Montgomery, #38, was the IMCA Hobby Stocks feature winner. Todd Hefner, #01, was second and Joey Skinner, #21s, was third.

Demetrius Carter was the Street Stocks feature winner.

Another win for the current points leader Demetrius Carter, #44, in the Street Stocks. Ryan Powers, #12r, was second and Shawn Byrd, #69, was third.

John Freeman, #21, from Runaway Bay, was the Junior Mini-Stocks feature winner.

The Pre Race Show with www.racinwithneal.com featured Craig Petty, #5 and Glen Hibbard, #127. Both are former feature winners in the IMCA Modified's division. The Pre Race Show begins at 6:15 and features driver interviews, free color photos and autographs.
