A large crowd was on hand for the Sprint Car Nationals.

Over 120 Sprints rolled into LoneStar Speedway for the 1st Annual LoneStar Speedway Sprint Car Nationals. $12,000 was up for grabs to the winner in the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by K&N Filters 360 Sprints A-main Saturday night.
Shane Stewart was the 360 feature winner Saturday night.
In Saturday's LoneStar Speedway 360 Sprint Car Nationals finale, Gary Wright, #9, started on the pole and quickly took the lead. About half way through the race, Shane Stewart, #57, took over the lead from Wright, with a hard charging Jason Johnson, #41, not to far behind. Johnson passed Wright and he and Stewart went back and forth for several laps until Stewart took over the lead for good to claim the $12,000 grand prize. This was Stewart's third National ASCS win this year. Rounding out the top five were Friday's feature winner Daryn Pittman, #24, veteran Gary Wright, #9, and Jack Dover, #53.
Several fans got to help determine the starting postions for the top eight drivers in the A-main. Gary Wright drew the number 1 position.

Thursday and Friday's results:
Johnny Herrera was the 360 feature winner Thursday night.
In Thursday nights racing action, Johnny "Hollywood" Herrera, #45x, defeated Seth Bergman, #23b, for the $2,000 win and a place in Saturday's A-main. Also joining Saturday's field was Matt Covington, #11c, and Tim Crawley, #88.

In Friday nights racing action, Daryn Pittman, #24, defeated Jason Johnson, #41, for the $2,000 win and a place in Saturday's A-main. Also joining Saturday's field was Shane Stewart, #57, and veteran Gary Wright, #9.

Kyle McCutcheon was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner.
Saturday's 305 Sprint Car feature results:
Kyle McCutcheon, #5, was the $2,000 winner in the RaceSaver Sprints A-main. Rounding out the top five were John Carney II, #224, Justin Melton, #11, Casey Hinton, #228, and Andy Shouse, #13w.
