Egbert defeats White for Heart 'O Texas Speedway Modifieds feature win

G.W. Egbert was the IMCA Modifieds feature winner.

In the IMCA Modifieds feature Friday night at Heart 'O Texas Speedway, G.W. Egbert, No. 717, defeated Keith White, No. 1, for the win. Dwayne Grantham, No. 27g, was third and Pat McGuire, No. 9, was fourth. Billy Bachmayer Jr., No. 38, had a strong run, but spun out with six laps to go. This was G.W. Egbert's second feature win this season.

George White was the ASCS Sprints feature winner.

Lil' George White, No. 10, whipped the ASCS Gulf South Region field to take the feature win. Brandon Berryman, No. 31, was a close second and Palm Harbor Homes Michael Lang, No. 14, was third. Rounding out the top five, were Channin Tankersley, No. 0, and Travis Elliott, No. 15t. Twenty-seven Sprints were in the pits and twenty Sprints started the 25-lap feature. The ASCS Sprints will be at Texas Thunder Speedway in Killeen Saturday night.

In the IMCA Southern SportMods feature, Chris Cogburn, No. 601, was first. Kenny Ware, No. 83k, was second and T.J. Green, No. 55, was third.

Pure Stocks: Greg Andrews, No. 68, Tommy Honey, No. 18, and Kevin Smith, No. 57.

Street Stocks: David Khoury, No. 173, Wade White, No. 68, and Tommy Kirkpatrick, No. 71.

It looked like Kevin had his first feature win in three years.

Cruisers: Kevin Harper, No. 126 (DQ'ed for scales), Andrews Richards, No. 9 and Jr. Jean, No. 47.

Jr. Mini Stock: Kayleigh Kornegay, No. 21K, Dakota Collier, No. 27 and Preston Jacobs, No.77.

Twisters: Dena Wachsmann, No. 94, John Fikes, No. 39 and Timothy Weir, No. 114.
