Keith White takes IMCA Modifieds feature at Kennedale Speedway Park

Current IMCA Modified points leader Keith White, No. 1, had to work for this feature win at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Veteran Darryl Campbell, Destroyer Chassis, No. 83, lead every lap except the last one when Keith managed to pass him on the low side. Jeremy Willis, No. 010, came in third.

Ronnie Welborn was the IMCA SportMods feature winner.

In the IMCA SportMods feature, Ronnie Welborn, No. 20, was the winner. Gary Fox, No. 12w, was second and Kevin Rutherford, No. 9, was third.

Chad Wilson was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner.

Chad Wilson, No. 20x, was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner. Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, was second and Ryan Hall, No. 79, was third.

Ryan Powers was the IMCA Stock Cars feature winner.

Flying Ryan Powers, No. r12, was the IMCA Stock Cars feature winner. Daniel Parker, No. 3p, was second and Duain Pritchett, No. 22, was third.

Ben Licas got upside down in the IMCA Stock Cars feature.

John Riechard was the Street Stocks feature winner.

In the Street Stocks feature, John Riechard, No. 8j, was the feature winner. Demetrius Carter, No. 44, was second and Justin Lamar, No. 121j, was third.

Jeremy Carter was the IMCA Hobby Stocks feature winner.

Jeremy Carter, No. 25c, was the IMCA Hobby Stocks feature winner. Andy Roller, No. 63 was second and Jon Grindstaff, No. 17, was third. 

Jarrett Bransoms impressive Jr Mini Stock.

Calton Pritchett, was the Jr. Mini Stock feature winner.

Kyle Busch focused on tonight's race, not last fall's

Kyle Busch is over it.

The NASCAR driver has moved on from one of the more memorable moments in Texas Motor Speedway history that saw him parked for the Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup races in November.

NASCAR handed Busch the stiff penalty after he intentionally wrecked Ron Hornaday under caution of the Camping World Truck Series' WinStar World Casino 350. At the time, Hornaday was in contention for the truck series championship.

"It's been five months, right? You're still talking about it," said Busch, driver of the No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota. "It's just another day, man. Another weekend, another racetrack. I'm here to do business."

NASCAR's penalty upset several racing fans. The Busch fans blamed NASCAR, while others agreed with it.

Busch said that's the way it's always been, and he doesn't see it changing anytime soon.

"I got a lot of great fans, and I got a lot of detractors," Busch said. "It's always been that way, and it's always going to be that way. There's not much I can do to change that. Whether I go out and spend tens of millions of dollars feeding orphans, it's not going to change."

As far as going into tonight's Samsung Mobile 500, Busch feels OK about his chances. He will start in the 17th position after posting a lap time of 28.678 seconds during qualifying Friday night.

"We struggled really bad most of the weekend then at the end of practice we finally got it to where it was decent," Busch said.

Clyde gets it "Dunn" at RPM Speedway in the USRA Modifieds feature

Clyde Dunn Jr. was the USRA Modified feature winner.

Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, started on the pole in the USRA Modified feature at RPM Speedway Friday night. Clyde quickly took the lead and was never challenged. The real race was for second. When the checkered flag dropped, Doug Byrns, No. 32, was second and Johnny Philpot Jr., No. 22, was third. Rounding out the top five was Charlie Smith, No. 3c, fourth and Chaz Exum, No. 21x, fifth.

Dustin Woods was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner. 

Last weeks RaceSaver Sprints feature winner Dustin Woods, No. 05, made it two wins in a row. Coming in second was Jeff Day, No. 95, Ryan Hall, No. 79 was third, Martin Edwards, No. 45 was fourth and Robert Vetter, No. v8, was fifth.

Ken Miller, driving the No. m1, was the Limited Modifieds feature winner. Tommy Davis Jr., No. 17d, was second, Danielle Daniels, No. 021, was third, Bobby Otega, No. 18, was fourth, and Justin Nabors, No. 07, was fifth.

Billy Gatlin was the Bomber feature winner.

Billy Gatlin, No. 38, was the Bomber feature winner. Brad Knowles, No. 84x, last week's feature winner, was second and Donny Henson, No. 8, was third, Johnny Rivers, No. 74, was fourth and Larry Watson, No. 12, was fifth.
