Matt Covington, No. 11c, was the ASCS Sprints American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Region vs. the Oil Medics Lone Star Region winner at the Devil's Bowl Saturday night. This was Matt's second feature win of the season at the Devils Bowl.
It turned out to be quite a Red River Rumble with two Oklahoma drivers, Danny Jennings, No. 1j, and Zach Chappell, No. 50z, taking each other out opening the door for Covington. Joe Wood Jr., No. 03, was second, Kevin Ramey, No. 1a, was third and Travis Rilat, No. 29, was fourth. Michelle Decker, No. 7, finished out the top five.
The ASCS Sprints will return to the Bowl June 2 for the second round of the Red River Rumble.

In the USA Modifieds feature, Danny Caldwell, No. 81, was the feature winner. Tony Staats, No. 25, was second and Trent Dorman, No. 36t, was third.
In the USA Limited Modifieds feature, Jimmy Staats, No. 39, was the feature winner. Cody Simpson. No. 81b, was second and Brad Wesp, No. 57, was third.
Mike Meeks Jr. was involved in a wreck on the front straight-a-way.
The Late Models feature winner was Patrik Daniels, No. 75. Darren Ellis, No. 21, was second and Tom Lorenz, No. 84, was third.
Ray Jonas, No. 8, was the Street Stocks feature winner. Kyle Money, No. 82, was second and Harry Hronas, No. 92, was third.
