The USMTS Modified Touring Series completed there third day of the Texas Tour Saturday night at Cowtown Speedway. Almost 60 of the nations finest Modified drivers competed for the 30 car, 40-lap, $4,000 feature. Johnny Scott, No. 1st, from Las Cruces, N.M. battled his way to the front and held off a hard charging Triston Dycus, No. 14t, for the feature win. Coming in third was Jason Hughes, No. 12, Zack VanderBeek, No. 33z, was fourth and Kelly Shryock, No. 3, was fifth.
Several local drivers had a good showing. Troy Taylor, No. 56, looked like the car to beat until it broke. Sean Jones, No. 24, was also very fast during his heat race.

Mike Sorensen, Thursday nights feature winner, blew a motor.

Jacob Pirkle, No. 41, was the Limited Modifieds feature winner. Coming in a close second was Greg Bonham, No. 66. Cody Simpson, No. 81b, was third, Troy Taylor, No. 56, was fourth and Bret Young, No. 69, was fifth.

Kyle Jones, No. 04, was the 600 A Class Mini Sprints feature winner. Kevin Ramey, No. 7m, was second. C.J. Duarte, No. 83, was third, Chipper Wood, No. 47, was fourth and Colby Estes, No. 71, was fifth.
Payton Pierce, No. 51b, was the Restrictor Mini Sprints feature winner. MacKenzie Ramey, No. 7m, was second. Tony Dowd, No. 11t, was third, Trevor Goad, No. 4t, was fourth and Colby Stubblefield, No. 2, was fifth.
