Heart O' Texas Speedway (Waco)
May 10 (Thursday)

Fifty USMTS Modifieds rolled into Heart O' Texas Speedway Thursday night for the first of three nights of racing. Mike Sorensen, No. 19, from Rochester, MN, started from the pole position and lead every lap in the 30 car, fifty-lap $4,000 feature event. Local Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, was second, Terry Phillips, No. 75, was third, Phillip Houston, No. 71, was fourth and another local driver Bobby Malcus, No. 4, was fifth.

The USMTS National Touring Series will be at RPM Speedway in Crandall Friday night and Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale on Saturday night.

May 5 (Saturday)

Saturday night reminded alot of race fans of the old Cowtown Speedway, when fans watched Sprints, Modifieds and a full race program. A large crowd was on hand to watch the Oil Medics ASCS Lone Star Region Sprints, USRA Modifieds and a full racing program.

In the ASCS Sprints feature, Andy Shouse, No. 27, defeated Travis Rilat, No. 29, to take the win. Kevin Ramey, No. 1a, was third, John Carney II, No. 224, was fourth, Gary Taylor, No. 1x, was fifth. The Oil Medics ASCS Lone Star Region next race will be at the Devils Bowl against the Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region May 19.

Bobby Malcus was the USRA Modifieds feature winner.

Bobby Malcus, No. 4m, was the USRA Modifieds feature winner. Clyde Dunn Jr, No. 88xxx, was second, Troy Taylor, No. 56, was third, Jacob Pirkle, No. 41, was fourth and Brandon McElroy, No. ps3, was fifth.

Bret Young, No. 69, held off Troy Taylor, No. 56, to take the Limited Modifieds feature. Jacob Pirkle, No. 41, was second, Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was fourth and Tory Yant, No. 00, was fifth. 

Chipper Wood, No. 47, held off a full field of 600 A-class Mini Sprints to take the feature win. Jeb Sessum, No. 01j, was second, Kevin Ramey, No. 7m was third, Kyle Jones, No. 69, was fourth and Keith Martin, No. 85, was fifth.

Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was the Street Stocks feature winner. David Redman, No. 54, was second and Tommy Williams, No. 151, was third.

Veteran Larry Smitherman, No. 74, was your Bomber feature winner. Justin Baker, No. 8, was second and Gary Smitherman, No. 42, was third.

MacKenzie Ramey, No. 7m, was the Restrictor Mini Sprints feature winner. Payton Pierce, No. 51, was second, Johnny Boland, No. 1, was third, Colby Stubblefield, was fourth and Trevor Goad, No. 4t, was fifth.
