Troy Taylor defeats Clyde Dunn Jr. to take the USRA Modifieds feature at Cowtown Speedway

June 30 (Saturday)

Troy Taylor, No. 56, got back into the win column Saturday night at Cowtown Speedway. Troy held off Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, to take the USRA Modified feature. Justin McCoy, No. 87, who had a strong run, was third, Michael Needham, No. 8x, was fourth and Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was fifth.

Patrik Daniel, No. 75, was the Late Models feature winner. Max Eddie Thomas, No. 82, was second, Loni Richardson, No. 0, was third, Troy Tindall, No. 98, was fourth and Bryan Suggs, No. 18, was fifth.

Jeff Day, No. 95, was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner. Chad Wilson, No. 20x, was second. Marvin Lowe, No. 98, was third (DQ), Logan Payne, No. 2, was fourth and D.J.Estes, No. 74, was fifth.

Troy Taylor, No. 56, also won the Limited Modifieds feature. Jacob Pirkle, No. 41, was a close second, Nick Clinkenbeard, No. 66, was third, Andy W., No. 47, was fourth and Pepper Kuykendall, No. 33, was fifth.

Tom Earl Jr., No. 47, was the Street Stocks feature winner. David Redman, No. 54, was second,Brandon Ruffin, No. 35, was third, Gary Nabors, No. 95, was fourth and David Bonham, No. 66, was fifth.

Scott Evans, No. 118, was the 600 A-Class Mini Sprints feature winner. Keith Martin, No. 85, was second, Chase Brewer, No. 3c, was third, D.J.Estes, No. 74, was fourth and Gary taylor, No. 3, was fifth.

MacKenzie Ramey, No. 7m, was the Restrictor Mini Sprints feature winner. Johnny Boland, No. 1, was second, Trevor Goad, No. 4t, was third, Weston Gorham, No. 71, was fourth and Cloby Stubblefield, No. 2, was fifth.

The Smithermans were first, second and third in the Bomber feature. Gary, Larry and Trey Smitherman were your top three. Jared Murray, No. 01, was fourth and Tracy Baker, No. 22, was fifth.

Brandon Watson wins IMCA Modifieds feature at Mountain Creek Speedway

Brandon Watson, No. 68, mentioned that they had just recently purchased this car and had done quite abit of work on it. They must have done a good job because the Ford powered Modified won the IMCA Modifieds feature at Mountain Creek Speedway Friday night. Rusty Travathon Jr., No. 51, was second, Blaine Shives, No. 0, was third, Dillion Pike, No. 6, was fourth and Jason Sartain, No. 74, was fifth. Sam Cox, No. 3c, was going for the lead 10 laps into the race, but hit Travathon's car and had to go to the pits. Darryl Campbell, No. 83, had mechancial problems during his heat race.

Chad Wilson was the IMCA Racesaver Sprints feature winner. 

Chad Wilson, No. 20x, was the IMCA RaceSaver Sprints feature winner. Dustin Woods, No. 05, was second, Jason Howell, No. 44, was third, J.R. Jenkins, No. 23, was fourth and Ed Keaton, No. 61, was fifth.

Archie Whitt Jr. was the IMCA Southern SportMods feature winner.
