Wayne Johnson, No. 77x, was the ASCS Lucas Oil Presented by MAVtv winner at the Devils Bowl Speedway Friday night. Thirty-three Sprints competed at the 39th Annual Devils Bowl Summer Nationals for the twenty-two starting positions in the A-main. On the first lap of the Sprints feature, Johnson made a strong move coming out of turn two to take the lead. There were several cautions during the race, but Johnson was never seriously challenged and went on to take the 25-lap $3,000 feature win. Danny Lasoski, No. 1m, was second, Johnny Herrera, No. 45x, was third, Jason Johnson, No. 41, was fourth, and Aaron Reutzel, No. 87, was fifth. With this victory, Wayne Johnson assumed the ASCS National Sprint Cars Points lead with Jason Johnson, second and Brady Bacon third.
The Devils Bowl will be hosting the second night of the 39th Annual ASCS Sprints Summer Nationals Saturday night that will also include the USA Limited Modifieds and Late Models.

Danny Caldwell, No. 81, was the USA Modifieds feature winner. This made seven feature wins in a row in the USA Modifieds. Tom Lorenz, No. 87x, was second, Richard McGibboney, No. 19, was third, Tony Staats, No. 25, was fourth and Steve McMackin, No. 41, was fifth.
It was not an easy win for Caldwell. Tom Lorenz, making his first appearance in his USA Modified, lead evey lap until Danny was able to pass him with one lap to go.

Harry Hronas, No. 92, was the Outlaw Street Stocks feature winner. Scott Prather, No. 22, was second, James Shaw Jr., No. 2, was third, Craig Pruett, No. 56, was fourth and Kyle Money, No. 82m, was fifth.
