The sound system wasn't working at Cowtown Speedway Saturday night, some people might think that is a good thing, but the race fans could hear the race cars just fine.
Twelve cars started the USRA Modified feature. Chris Huckeba, No. 2c, started on the pole and managed to hold off a hard charging Troy Taylor, No. 56, to take the win. Jimmy Littlejohn, No. 87l, was third, Triston Dycus, No. 14t, was fourth and Bryan Suggs, No. 99ii, was fifth.

Kevin Ramey, No. 1a, defeated Jeff Day, No. 95, to take the RaceSaver Sprints feature. Chad Wilson, No. 20x, was third, Chase Brewer, No. 99, was fourth and D.J. Estes, No. 74, was fifth.
Jacob Pirkle, No. 41, was the Limited Modifieds feature winner. Troy Taylor, No. 56, was second, Chance Morris, No. 6, was third, Andy W., No. 47, was fourth and Tory Yant, No. 00, was fifth.
Taylor Hall, No. 14, hit the wall hard in the Mini Sprint B-Main, but did not appear to be hurt.
Sean Jones, No. 27, the "Batman", defeated Tyson Hall, No. 5x, in the 600 A-Class Mini Sprints feature. D.J. Estes, No. 74, was third, Kevin Ramey, No. 7m, was fourth and Chipper Wood, No. 47, was fifth.

Frank Lackey, No. 517, was the Bomber feature winner. Anthony Boatman, No. 75, was second, Trey Smitherman, No. 96, was third, Justin Baker, No. 8, was fourth and Jonathan Capps, No. 5j, was fifth.
MacKenzie Ramey, No. 7m, was the Restrictor Mini Sprints feature winner. Trevor McIntyre, No. 40p, was second, Johnny Boland, No. 1, was third, Weston Walker, No. 9, was fourth and Trevor Goad, No. 4t, was fifth.
Mrs. Swiney, Cowtown Speedway's original track owner, celebrated her 80th birthday.
