Tommy Bryant, No. 28, defeated Andy Shouse, No. 27, to take the Life Partners Inc. sponsored 6th Annual ASCS Gulf South Region vs. Lone Star Region Sprint Shootout at Heart O' Texas Speedway Friday night. Thirty-six Sprints competed for the twenty car, twenty-five lap $2,000 feature event. Tommy Bryant started on the pole and quickly jumped to the lead and was not seriously challenged for the win. A hard charging Andy Shouse, No. 27, came in second, Fort Worth's Kevin Ramey, No. 1a, was third, Brandon Berryman, No. 31, was fourth and Klint Angelette, No. 19, was fifth.

Keith White, No. 1, "Captain America", picked up his 11th feature win for the season in the IMCA Modifieds. Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was a close second, Dwayne Grantham, No. 27G, was third, Billy Bachmayer Jr., No. 38, was fourth and Jerrod Jennings, No. 98j, was fifth.

Current points leader Sidney Kiphen, No. 58, was the IMCA SportMods feature winner. Eddie Grmela, No. 11g, was second, Chris Cogburn, No. 601, was third, Bobby Mercer Jr., No. 5m, was fourth and Evan Pardo, No. 42p, was fifth.

Greg Andrews, No. 68, picked up his 15th feature win of the season in the Pure Stocks. Kevin Smith, No. 57, was second, Ryan Hopkins, No. 4, was third, Jeff Shepperd, No. 15, was fourth and Thomas Smith, No. 27, was fifth.
Defending champ Andrew Richards, No. 9, was the Cruisers feature winner. This was his 8th feature win this season. Shannon Boehler, No. 86, was second, William Dean, No. 44d, was third, Jonathan Milliman, No. 24, was fourth and Billy Williams, No. 28, was fifth.
Natan Sodek, No. 60, got his 5th feature win in the IMCA Hobby Stocks. Cody Frank, No. 7, was second, Garett Rawls, No. 4g, was third, Jeremy Oliver, No. 82, was fourth and Andy Roller, No. 63, was fifth.
