Beautiful weather, a large crowd and over 270 race teams made for some exciting racing at the second annual Port-A-Cool U.S. National Dirt Track Championships at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday night. Drivers had one last chance to make the Modified and Limited Modified features.
In the Modified feature, John Whittington, No. 5w, looked like he had the car to beat. But with about ten laps to go, in the 30-lap feature, Chris Brown, No. 21b, chased John down, and took the lead and the win. Shane Hebert, No. 9, was third, Jason Ingalls, No. 12, was fourth and Chris Henigan, No. 16, was fifth.
