Cowtown Speedway (Kennedale) September 22 (Saturday)
Troy Taylor, No. 56, was crowned the 2012 USRA Modified champion at Cowtown Speedway Saturday night. Tonight's USRA Modified feature win was not easy. Troy passed Cody Smith, No. 18s, at the finish line to take the checkered flag. Sean Jones, No. 24, who had a strong run, settled for third, Tom Earl III, No. 46, was fourth and J.P.Dowell, No. 715, was fifth.
Troy Taylor was crowned the 2012 Modified champion.
Troy Taylor defeated Cody Smith by a nose.

RaceSaver Sprints feature winner: Claude Estes, No. 74, survived a wild Racesaver Sprints feature. The top three Sprints, Justin Melton, No. 11, Chad Wilson, No. 20x, and Jeff Day, No. 95, took each other out with four laps to go. Claude started on the front after the caution and cruised to a feature win. Kevin Ramey, No. 1a, was second, Jason Howell, No. 44, was third, Chase Brewer, No. 99, was fourth and Ravon Culp, No. 3c, was fifth. Chad Wilson was crowned the 2012 RaceSaver Sprints champion.

Limited Modified feature winner: Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was the Limited Modified feature winner. Chance Morris, No. 6, was second, Troy Taylor, No. 56, was third, J.C.Howell, No. 103, was fourth and Dustin Mooney, No. 02, was fifth. Troy Taylor was crowned the 2012 Limited Modified champion.
Street Stocks feature winner: Ricky Braddock, No. 56, was the feature winner. "Flyin" Ryan Powers, No. r12, was second, Demetrius Carter, No. 8 was third, Mike McCoy, No. 44, was fourth and Lance Hanson Jr., No. 5h, was fifth. David Redman was crowned the 2012 Street Stocks champion.
Bomber feature winner: Frank Lackey was the feature winner. Tony Anderson, No. 147, was second, Billy Burt II, No. 118, was third, Gary Smitherman, No. 42, was fourth and Larry Smitherman, No. 74, was fifth. Larry Smitherman was crowned the 2012 Bomber champion.
600 A-Class Mini Sprints feature winner: The "Batman" Sean Jones flew to another win. Chad Koch, No. 22c, was second, Sterling Hoff, No. 39, was third, Kyle Jones, No. 04, was fourth and Chipper Wood, No. 47, was fifth. Kyle Jones was crowned the 2012 600 A-Class Mini Sprints champion.
Restrictor Mini Sprints feature winner: Colby Stubblefield, No. 2, was the winner. Johnny Boland, No. 1, the 2012 Restrictor Mini Sprints champion, was second, Weston Gorham, No. 71, was third, Anton Hernandez, No. 51, was fourth and Marshall McElvy, No. 48m, was fifth.
