About half way through the race, Dillion developed mechanical problems and had to go to the pits. Oklahoma's William Gould, No. 60, and current Modifieds points leader Sam Cox, No. 3c, were working their way through the Modified pack. Gould took the lead with Cox close behind. Sam was not able to catch William and he took the checkered flag for the win. Rusty Travathan, No. 51, was third, "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fourth and Mike McLaughlin, No. 715, was fifth. A special thanks to PTC Oil Field Engineering for donating an extra $200 to the IMCA Modifieds feature.
