It got a little spooky in the USRA Modified feature at RPM Speedway's OktoberFAST Saturday night. Veteran Troy Taylor, No. 56, looked like he had the race well in hand, but about half way through the A-main, Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, managed to catch Troy and pass him only to have a caution come out. During the caution, Charlie Smith, No. 3c, ran into Clyde and was sent to the pits for rough driving. Clyde Dunn Jr. took the green but was unable to continue due to mechanical problems. On the restart, Cody Smith, No. 18s, passed Troy Taylor and went on the take the USRA Modified feature win. Coming in third was Bobby Ruffin, No. 121, Fourth was Tommy Davis Jr, No. 8, and Billy Brierton, No. 54, was fifth.
