Forty-one Lucas Oil ASCS Sprints presented by MavTV competed in the 39th Annual Winter Nationals at the historic Devils Bowl Speedway Friday night. Jeff Swindell, No. 94, started from the pole and quickly jumped to the lead. Jeff went on to take the $3,000 win, Chris Bell, No. 17, finished second, a hard charging Jason Johnson, No. 41, was third, Danny Lasoski, No. 1m, was fourth and Travis Rilat, No. 29, was fifth. Wayne Johnson, No. 77x, took home the sixth spot. The top four positions are locked into Saturday nights feature.

Bobby Malcus, No. 4m, was the USA Modified feature winner. Colby Smith, No. 01, was second and Patrik Daniel, No. 75, was third. Rounding out he top five was Cody Simpson, No. 81b, was fourth and Trent Dorman, No. 36t, was fifth.
Robert V8 Vetter was the USA Limited Modified feature winner. Tom Lorenz, No. 84, was second, Chris Cleveland, No. 49, was third, Jimmy Chriswell, No. 5, was fourth and Jason Troutman, No. 1, was fifth.
