It was qualifying night at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

Over two hundred race teams were in the pits for the Port a Cool Texas Motor Speedway Texas World Dirt Track Championship Friday night. There were over 100 Limited Modifieds, 75 Modifieds plus the SUPR Late Models. The top seven finishers from both the Limiteds and the Modifieds are locked into Saturday night's finale.

In the Modified feature, Ryan Gustin, No. 19r, showed the competition the fast way around the track to take the Modified A-Qualifier. Coming in second was Rodney Sanders, No. 20, last years winner Chris Brown, No. 21b, was third, John Whittington, No. 5x, was fourth, Josh Landers, No. 14x, was fifth, Chris Henigan, No. 16, was sixth and Garrett Gregory, No. 11, was seventh.

In the Limited Modified feature, Derick Grigsby, No. 69, took the win in the Limited Modified A-Qualifier. Coming in second was Matt Mueller, No. 38, John Whittington, 5w, was third, Randy Timms, No. 5t, was fourth, James Blaylock, No. 4b, was fifth, J.J.Jennings, No. 26g, was sixth and Robert Elliott, No. 1f, was seventh. All seven of these drivers are locked into Saturday night's finale.
