Jason Johnson, No. 41, started on the front row in the 30-lap Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real Sizzlin Summer Speedweek feature at Kennedale Speedway Park Friday night. This was the first of six race nights in four states. After a couple of laps, Jason was able to get past Ryan Hall, No. 79, who started on the pole and the race was on. There was no stopping the "racin cajun" Jason Johnson, who went on to capture the $4,000 win. Having a strong run for second was Jeff Swindell, No. 94. Cole Wood, No. 17w, was third, Ray Allen Kulhanek, No. 21t, was fourth and Matt Covington, No. 95, was fifth. Kevin Ramey, No. 7m, was sixth and current ASCS points leader Johnny Herrera, No. 45x, was seventh.
The Sizzlin Summer Speedweek continues Saturday night at the historic Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite.

600 A-Class Mini Sprint Winner: John Roan, No. 16, was the feature winner. Jason Tyler, No. 12, was second, Scott Peterson, No. 3x, was third, Coby Estes, No. 71, was fourth and Justin McCoy, No. 00, was fifth.
600 Restrictor Mini Sprint Winner: Weston Gorham, No. 71, was the feature winner. Colby Stubblefield, No. 2, was second, Trevor Goad, No. 4t, was third, Shelbie Goad, No. 18, was fourth and Taylor Neilson, No. 7t, was fifth.
