June 16 (Sunday)
The IMCA Lone Star Series rolled into Mountain Creek Speedway Sunday afternoon. It was hot and that made for some dry, dusty racing conditions. Some of the top IMCA drivers were in the house competing for IMCA points and prize money.
IMCA Modified Winner: Keith White, No. 1, worked his way to the front and went on to take the IMCA $1,000 to win Modified feature. That put him and William Gould, No. 60, very close for the IMCA Modified points lead. Gould finished fourth. Rounding out the top five was Chris Bragg, No. 24b, who came in second, Joe Spillman, No. 444, was third and David Davis, No. 02d, was fifth. Josh McGaha, No. 911, dropped out with a flat. Nineteen IMCA Modifieds started the 20-lap feature.
