William Gould, No. 60, was the IMCA Modified feature winner at 85 Speedway Wednesday night. It was their annual Independence Show. A nice crowd was on hand to view some fireworks, that was sponsored in part by the Ennis State Bank, and some great racing.
IMCA Modified Winner: William Gould, No. 60, finished second in his heat race. But in the IMCA feature, he wasn't about to let that happen again. Starting on the front row, when the green flag dropped, Gould was gone. There was no catching him. "Downtown" Scotty Brown, No. 44, was second, R. Trevathan Jr., No. 51, was third, Jack Sartain, No. 47, was fourth and Charlie UpChurch, No. 214, was fifth. Richard Brown Jr., No. 77, was sixth.
