Kennedale Speedway Park held their second of three nights of racing for their annual Spring Kick Off. A large crowd was on hand and over 140 race teams competed in six different classes. The racing finale was scheduled for Sunday afternoon, but due to the extreme cold weather that is expected to move into this area, it has been cancelled.

IMCA Modified Winner: Glen Hibbard, No. 127, started on the outside front row. He quickly took the lead and there was no catching him. Jeff Emerson, No. 35, was second, Keith White, No. 1, was third, J.P. Dowell, No. 7, was fourth and Chris Elliott, No. 9, was fifth. McGaha, No. 911, Bragg, No. 24b, Bransom, No. 29, Martin, No. 11, Radcliff, No. 11. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

RaceSaver Sprint Winner: Chad Wilson, No. 20, was the feature winner. He said he won it for his dad who passed away last year at this time. Jeff Day, No. 95, was second, Josh Hawkins, No. 80, was third, John Ricketts, No. 5r, was fourth and Claud Estes, No. 74e, was fifth. Sessoms, No. 01j, Fifield, No. 49. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

IMCA Stock Car Winner: Kirk Martin, No. 69, came on strong with a couple of laps to go to pass Gabe Tucker, No. 28, for the feature win, Jay Bransom, No. 33c, was third, Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was fourth and Jeremy Carter, No. 25c. Twenty-six cars started the feature.
