The Texas Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) rolled into Mountain Creek Speedway Friday night. This was the inaugural race of the season for the new Modified series. Thirty-four of the best Outlaw Modifieds competed for the twenty-one starting positions and the $1,500 first price.
TOMS Modified Winner: Kevin Sustair, No. 71k, started on the pole and quickly took the lead. He seemed have the race well in hand until Wesley Veal, No. 11x, battled him for the lead. Those two went back and forth until Oklahoma's Brandon Watson, No. 68, slipped pass them with a few laps to go to take the win. Kyle Sweeney, No. 21k, ended up second, Sustair, No. 71k, was third, Veal, No. 11x, was fourth and Cody Smith, No. 18s, was fifth. Rounding out the top ten: Taylor, No. 56, C. Smith, No. 01, Malcus, No. 4m, Penn, No. 1*, and Egbert, No. 78.

Ricketts Rockets To Victory: John Ricketts, No. 5r, sprinted away from the field for the RaceSaver Sprints win. Chipper Wood, No. 47, was second, Kevin Ramey, No. 7m, was third, Kyle Jones, No. 04, was fourth and Chase Brewer, No. 99, was fifth. Rounding out the top ten: Sessums, No. 01j, Woods, No. 00, Lawrence, No. 76, Dowd, No. 11t, and McDonald, No. 79b.

UpChurch SportMod Winner: Jake UpChurch, No. 24, held off Tommy Davis Jr., for the IMCA SportMod feature win. Last week's winner Jon White Jr., No. 8j, was third, Wesley Cummings, No. 1, was fourth and Ron Allison, No. 2g, was fifth. Mohler, No. 88c, Henderson, No. 121h, Martin, No. 55m, Urich, No. 13, and Grazer, No. 2f.

J.C. Howell Street Stock Winner: J.C. Howell, No. 103, was the Street Stock winner. Tommy Davis Jr., No. 17, was second, Walter Hamilton, No. 1w, was third, Lance Hanson Jr., No. 5h, was fourth and Jeff Turner, No. 44, was fifth. Frideley, No. 08, Cook, No. 32d, Gunnels, No. 70, Parker, No. 21, and Flannagan, No. 62.
Sonntag Seals Victory: Jeff Sonntag, No. 73, won a wild Factory Stock feature. Dillion Moss, No. 33, ended up second, Randy Buttery, No. 5, was third, Nicholas Golaski, No. xxx, was fourth and Scott Baird, No. 52, was fifth. Torrez, No. 23, Bailey, No. 27, Baker, No. 22t, Lambeth, No. 52j and Cook, No. 04.
Starnes Sails To Win: Joey Starnes, No. 11j, ran away with the Mini Sprint feature. Kyle Jones, No. 04, was second, Coby Estes, No. 71, was third, Logan Scherb, No. 69, was fourth and Bobby Breen, No. 29, was fifth. Corbin, No. 29, McCrary, No. 13m, Estes, No. 74e, Gorham, No. 71w, Boland, No. 1.
