Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm Mott)

It was the 2016 final points night at Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night. Veteran racer Keith Green, a multi track champion, was one proud dad. His two son's, T.J. and Kevin Green, both won 2016 track championships. Kevin Green, No. 5, was the 2016 Champion in the IMCA Modified Division. Kevin held off Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, for the 20-lap Modified feature win. Dwayne Grantham, No. 27g, was third, Jeff Hoegh, No. 97j, was fourth and Raymond McSpadden, No. 48r, was fifth. Frydrych, Radcliff, Anders, Cochran II, and Hood, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jeff Shepperd, No. 17, held off the 2016 SportMod Champion T.J. Green, No. 5, for the feature win. Garett Rawls, No. 4g, was third, Ronnie Bell, No. 95, was fourth and Taylor Florio, No. 21t, was fifth. Hanusch, Burnett, Guyton, Frydrych, and Wachsmann, rounded out the top ten. Twelve cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 4725, was the feature winner. Justin McCullough, No. 47, was second, Andy Roller, No. 63, was third, Wade White, No. 68, was fourth and Joe O'Bryan, No. 14, was fifth. Dulock, Norman, Black, Blackwood, and Hammond, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature. Eric Jones, No. 84x, the 2016 Stock Car Champion, had a strong run, but went out with a flat five laps into the feature.

Hobby Stock Feature Winner: Jeremy Oliver, No. 82, was the feature winner and the 2016 Hobby Stock Car Champion. Coming in a close second in the feature race, was Shannon Dulock, No. 47, Wesley Warren, No. 75, was third, Joe Williams, No. 32, was fourth, and Hayden White, No. 8w3, was fifth. Underwood, Kornegay, Robinette, Burnett, and Smith, and Brunson, rounded out the field. Eleven cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Picking up his third championship in-a-row and the feature win, was Ryan Hopkins, No. 4. Edward Harcrow, No. 3, was second, Michael Guenat, No. 25, was third, John Herring, No. $100, was fourth, and Jamie Herring, No. 222, was fifth. Morosky, Kemp Jr., Dean, Richardson, and LaCount, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Colton Rawls, No. 08, was the feature winner and the 2016 Jr. Mini Stock Champion. Bradley Warren, No. 34w, was second, and Austin Moore, No. 88, was third.
