There was a major wreck on the second lap of the Modified feature at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Tommy Williams, No. 151, along with four other fast Modifieds were taken out in turn 1. The wreck put last week's Modified feature winner on the front row of the 20-lap feature. Matt Martin, No. 11, didn't waste any time picking up where he left off last week by taking his third Modified feature win in-a-row. His fourth Modified feature win of the season. Dean Abbey, No. 26, ended up second, Chad Melton, No. 71, was third, Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was fourth and John Gober, No. 52, was fifth. Bransom, Allen, McCoy, Emerson, and Campbell, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Sprint Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, took the $1,200 to win Sprint feature. John Ricketts, No. 5r, had a strong run, for second, Weston Gorham, No. 71w, lead several laps, but ended up third, Chad Wilson, No. 20, was the hard charger coming from the back of the pack to finish fourth, and Michelle Melton, No. 21, was fifth. Williams, Emerson, L. Scherb, Lawrence, and C. Estes, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature. Thanks to Rafter P. Construction Inc. for sponsoring our Sprints!

SportMod Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, picked up another feature win. His second feature win in-a-row. Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was second, Kamera McDonald, No. 62k, was third, John Freeman, No. 21f, was fourth and John Rabozzi, No. 90, was fifth. Young, IIich, Walp, Covey, and Allison, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Jay Bransom, No. 29, defeated Westin Abbey, No. 12, for the win. Damon Hammond, No. 116, was third, "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fourth and Jason Riddle, No. 35, was fifth. Ludwick, Goldstein, Bruce, Pennington, and Powers, rounded out the top ten. Ten cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Jeffrey Kinnaird, No. 07, appeared to be the run-a-way winner. Not so fast. He failed to pass the post race tech. Trey Smitherman, driving the No. 96, ended up in first place, Mike Shackleford, No. 09, was second, Ruben Broussard, No. 51, was third, Duane Wolff, No. 10, was fourth and J.D. Millirons, No. 29, was fifth. Tryon, Lyles, Gafford Sr., C. Cook, and Magar, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Jr Mini Stock Feature Winner: Ranger Shipman, No. 57r, defeated Casey Merrell, No. 41, for the win. Jerrett Bransom, No. 29, was third, Jarrett Hefler, No. 88j, was fourth and Joel Goff, No. 26, was fifth. Coppock, D. Shipman, J. Hefler, No. 02, appeared to take the win, but was later DQ'd, and finally Blake Clark, No. 88, DNS. Nine cars started the feature.

Dwarf Car Feature Winner: "Little" Joe Sheddan, "the Black Dragon", No. 138, the current Lone Star Dwarf Club points leader, slid past David Garland, No. 02, on the last lap to take the exciting feature win. Jaron Shahan, No. 7, was third, Dick Brooker, No. 15, was fourth and Scott Prejean, No. 71m was fifth. Davis, Hearne, Miller, Williams, and Glick, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.
